The Ophthalmologists at the Pretoria Eye Institute are involved in the training of Registrars and Medical students at the University of Pretoria and the University of Limpopo. Complicated surgeries are also being done by the Pretoria Eye Institute’s Ophthalmologists at these State facilities.

General practitioners and Optometrist lectures are also being held.
