Dr Tommie Jordaan

Dr. Tommie Jordaan completed his medical training at the University of the Free State in 2003 and started his career in Ophthalmology in 2009 at Kimberley Hospital.  He completed his specialist training in Durban in 2017 and obtained his Master’s degree from the University of KZN.  He then received further training in Vitreoretinal surgery under Prof. L Visser.

Dr. Jordaan joined Dr. Johan van der Hoven’s practice at Pretoria Eye Institute in 2022.  He is a general ophthalmologist with a special interest in vitreoretinal surgery.  His main practice is at the Pretoria Eye Institute in Arcadia and he also runs clinics in Pretoria North and Faerie Glen.

Outside of Ophthalmology, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hunting and running.
