Dr Niel Cornelius

Dr. Cornelius is a fellowship-trained corneal surgeon with over twenty-five years of experience in the field of ophthalmology. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology from the University of Pretoria. He has been a Fellow of the South African College of Ophthalmologists since 2006.

In 2007, he joined the Pretoria Eye Institute, where he has since focused on cornea, laser refractive, cataract, and anterior segment surgery. He practices alongside his esteemed colleagues, Drs. Petrus Gous, Liezel vd Merwe, Charl Weitz, and Cor van Zyl, collectively providing a comprehensive range of ophthalmological services.
