Dr Nilesh Dahya

I completed my undergraduate training at The University of the Witwatersrand.

My interest in eyes was kindled under the tutelage of Dr GF (Frits) Stegmann in 2004-2005 in Limpopo.

I was then fortunate to Specialise under Prof Polla Roux at the University of Pretoria 2006-2010.

I completed a mini-fellowship at the Rotterdam Eye Hospital (Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam) under Dr Jan Tjeerd de Faber in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, with further mentorship from Dr Gideon du Plessis at the Pretoria Eye Institute, where I have worked since 2010.

I enjoy working in a fantastic team at the Eye Institute, where we strive for the best outcomes for our patients.
